RAJPURA: All India IT Association (AIITA) has inaugurated its new training centre at Speaking Hands Institute (SHI) for the deaf and this inauguration ceremony was attended by AIITA president, Shri Santosh Shukla (Supreme Court, Advocate), Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema (Education Minister, Punjab), Mr. J.K. Jain (SDM, Rajpura), Mr. Parmjit Singh (BDO, Rajpura), Mr. Praveen Chabbra (MC, Rajpura), Mr. Bhupinder Singh (Member Block Samiti, Rajpura) among other programs the trailer of the movie “Silent Hero” Producer by Mr.Kamal for deaf people was also showcased. This was informed by Mrs. Gurmeet Gill of Rajpura AIITA Centre.

What amazed the audience was, that the disabled Children conducted the whole function single handedly. Many other deaf students from Punjab also participated and their main focus was education and empowerment of deaf Girls. The Director of Speaking Hands Mrs. Gurmeet Gill said these children are not dependent on any one and only need encouragement to pave their own way to success. She also said that Speaking Hands is thankful to AIITA for considering it capable for managing the IT centre and for giving these deaf students many more new opportunities to

DLP Poster gets released in Digital India Week

 

Target of 10000 People to get them Digital Literate 

Indore:   Under visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative across the country, Digital Literacy Program of 24 Study hours had been started by joint initiative of Alma and All India IT Association (AIITA) to mark Digital India Week. This Digital Literacy Program (DLP) has been designed for people aging from 08-65 years. A poster of DLP had been released by Prof. (Dr.) PN Mishra (Dir,IMS, DAVV)) , Shri Santosh Shukla Advocate (Dir. Alma)and Dr. Dilip N Pandit (Editor, Alma Times).  This was informed by Dr. Rajeev Srivastava (Secretary, AIITA). 

On releasing the poster of DLP, Prof. (Dr.) PN Mishra (Dir,IMS, DAVV)) emphasised the importance of digital technoly and utility of basic operations of computes, internet, cloud computing  and email operating. On this occasion, Shri Santosh Shukla Advocate (Dir. Alma) briefed about DLP to strengthen the nation.He told that both Alma and AIIAT planned to continue for a whole year and train more than 10 000 people through this compaign.  

The initiative of Alma and AIITA has been designed for Certificate Programme in Digital Literacy that covers 24 study hours of people from 8 to 65 years age.

Alma starts certificate in Digital Literacy Course  to mark DIW

 

 New Delhi: Alma is one of the leading organizations that works in Computer and Information Technology (IT) sector in promoting Computer Literacy for last 16 years across the nation. To support and promote the cause of our Prime Minister NarendraModi's initiative- Digital India Mission, Alma has started a certificate in Digital Literacy course for students and citizen of the country to aware basic knowledge of Computer, Internet, E-mail and other digital gadgets for strengthening growth of the nation. This was informed by the director of Alma Shri Santosh Shukla Advocate.

The certification course of Certificate in Digital Literacy (CDL) comprises into 25 hours / 15 days. It includes basic knowledge of Computer, Email operating, basic Internet and IT awareness & operating and basic information of hardware.

VIJAYANAGARAM: It is the need of the hour to educate people and especially the youth through computer technology so that they could able to get employment at their own localities. Alma is paving the right way through job-oriented computer courses and other vocational program.
