Dehradun: It’s high time to know the various application and utilities of computers  along with changing technologies. In the latest scenario of digital revolution, one has got to be well informed. The ken of latest applications of computers could enable us to pave with tech-trends and innovative facilities. These views were expressed by the director of  Alma Shri shantosh Shukla Advocate  at inaugurating new center of Alma in Dehradun.

Expressing the importance of computer technologies, Shri Shukla told that it’s now become an imperative to have computer knowledge for every student and layman as well to get ready with the Era. On this occasion, the center head Shri Saurabh Upadhayay expressed his views over importance of computers and the existing trends of latest technologies. Along with Shri Shukla, Development Officer, Shri Ravikant Sharma graced the dais and shed on light over the importance of computer literacy

New IT park soon in Indore

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh government is coming up with yet another IT Park. Coming up exclusively for the companies that had signed MoUs during the recently held Global Investors Meet, the new IT park will be situated at Sinhasa Village in Indore on Dhar road. Though the new IT park will not be a SEZ, companies will get all benefits under the new IT policy of state. Indore already has one IT Park known as Crystal IT Park. "Work for the new IT park has already started," said IT secretary of Madhya Pradesh Hariranjan Rao here. He said that the companies will get all other benefits accept export benefits offered under SEZ. The park will be mainly for small and medium size IT companies. AKVN has invited tenders worth Rs 18 crore for construction of the road connecting Dhar Road and Airport. It will connect the proposed IT Park with the airport and the Super Corridor. Rao further said that during the investors meet, 47 MoUs were signed for IT sector out of which 33 MoUs were for Indore. Most of the companies that have signed MoUs are Indore based with presence in other cities and want to expand their operations

CUREPIPE: The leading brand of computer education at global level of Alma is well known for its International Certification  in IT & Conpute Courses for last 12 years. Alma has just planned to stsrt its new center in Curepipe, Mauritus. This is informed by Shri Anil Audit and Shri Santosh Shukla . Curepipe Alma Center will conduct all computer courses of Alma.  Curepipe is a town (population 81,600 in 2003) centrally situated in Mauritius, an island country in the southwest Indian Ocean. It is second in size and importance to Port Louis, the capital.

Compared to the rest of the island, Curepipe lies at a higher elevation, often referred to as the "Central Plateau".The town's name, Curepipe, is said to be originated from the word "curer sa pipe" (French) which translates to 'cleaning the pipe" (English). There are several theories by historians as to the naming of the city. Curepipe is also referred to as "La Ville Lumière" (in English "The Town of Light") since it was the first town in the island to run on electricity.

There is a Carnegie library established by the Carnegie Foundation in 1917 which is well known for its manuscript-collection and its collection

Five faculties in Sanchi University

BHOPAL: Sanchi Buddhist and Indian Knowledge Studies University proposed to be established in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh will have five faculties broadly including Buddhist Philosophy, Sanatan Dharma and Indian Knowledge Studies, International Buddha Studies, Comparative Studies of Religions and Languages, Literature and Arts.

About 100 acre land has been reserved for the university's premises and building at Sanchi. Construction of building will cost Rs. 200 crore. Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma has informed that foundation of this unique and first of its kind university will be laid at Sanchi. The foundation laying ceremony will be attended by Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Bhutanese Prime Minister Leo Jigme Thinley, Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Prakash Ambedkar, Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Ven Bangal Upastissa Nayak Thero.

At the university, research and teaching will be done on all aspects of Indian systems along with Buddhism in India and abroad. The university will conduct studies on Buddhist education, contemporary philosophies and traditions. The university will coordinate between basic principles of Indian knowledge and concepts with those of other cultures and civilizations of the world and promote research and studies to this effect.

SALEM: Historically known as Mango City, Salem is located in the North Central part of Tamilnadu state and just 340 kilometers south west of the state capital Chennai. Salem is well known for its historical Temples and Churches and Mosques. Salem keeps its identity of Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) and Government Engineering College. Alma-the leading brand of Computer Education has opened its new computer education centre here recently.

On this occasion, Centre Head M.S. Lakshmi and M. Gokul told that all computer courses of Alma have been conducted for this centre is nominal fee structure. He told that all Alma courses are job oriented and due to this, students and youth of Salem got an opportunity to learn them.

Delhi:  The director of Alma Shri Santosh Shukla, Advocate inaugurated Alma Computer education center at sukhbir nagar of Delhi, recently.

Shri Shukla graced the occasion among other prominent personalities. Being chief guest of this opening ceremony, Shri Shukla expressed as IT is the bright career option in computer education among young generation.
